James Francis Gill

 

Bereits 1962 nahm das New Yorker Museum of Modern Art sein aus drei Tafeln bestehende Gemälde „Marilyn Triptych“ in seine ständige Sammlung auf. [1] Auf dem Höhepunkt seiner Karriere zog Gill sich dann zurück, um sich erst nach rund 30 Jahren wieder auf der Kunstszene zu zeigen.
